Reach for the skies! Aviation is back and more detailed than ever. In this game, you'll participate in the development of air power through the XXth century and explore the combat capabilities of new aviation technologies. Sink the Pacific Fleet at anchor or pit fleets of strategic bombers against fighter swarms over Europe. Use gliders or paratroops to drop ground forces behind enemy lines and take them by surprise. Control the seas with aircraft carriers, but watch out for pesky Kamikazes! Use blimps, helicopters, or long-range bombers to hunt for submarines as they stalk the merchant ships that fuel your economy. Experience the rapid changes in the science of aeronautics, from the earliest days of wire-and-fabric flying-machines spotting for artillery, to the nuclear-tipped supersonic bombers of the 1960s — and try not to get left behind.
This game will be played with Freeciv21 (download the latest version). The ruleset will be the very detailed Aviation, with the lessons of LTEx24 implemented and many new features. It can be obtained from the modpack installer or directly from Github.
