Can humans fly? You'll have to answer this question in order to survive. In this game, you'll participate in the development of aviation thorough the XXth century and explore the combat capabilities of new plane technologies. Sink the Pacific Fleet at anchor or fight for air superiority over Europe to engage into strategic bombing. Use gliders to drop heavy equipment behind enemy lines and take thew by surprise. Or maybe you'll find Kamikaze planes to be more useful?

The ruleset will be the very detailed Aviation and this will be the first game played with Freeciv21. Accordingly, it will be an experimental game with the possibility for rule changes in the middle of the game.

The tileset can be downloaded using the Modpack Installer and selected using one of the following methods:

• In the client options, at the bottom of the Graphics tab, tick "Automatically accept tileset suggestions". This will let games override the preferences set at the top of the tab.
• In the client options, Graphics tab, set the "Square" tileset to "aviation". This will make "aviation" the default for all games and will cause trouble with other rulesets.
• Use Game - Options - Choose another tileset and select "aviation". The change is only temporary and will be reset when closing the client.
